🌟 Thank You for Making the First Meriden Hazard Days a Success! 🌟

Now that the dust has settled, summer is winding down, and the kids are back in school, we want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who helped make our very first Meriden Hazard Days such a success! 💛

Run by MMCRU and Cherokee school groups as fundraisers.

Extra concert tickets for passengers can be purchased at the gate for $20 each.

Meriden also purchased a new (used) city snow plow truck. A grant was written to the cherokee Legacy foundation for a portion of the purchase price of this truck and was awarded to us. Thank you for your support!

Over this past year the City Of Meriden has made some improvements to the park and community center. A new patio was installed and a handicap accessible sidewalk at the community center, as well as a new charcoal grill. New playground mulch was also purchased the city received donations from local families and businesses as well as a grant from the legacy foundation. Here is a list of donors. We can’t thank you enough for your support of our small town!
