Due to the number of players unable to attend the tournament, we have decided to cancel the 2020 Mesquite Amateur. We know the registered players worked hard to move travel plans and vacations and we cannot thank you enough for doing your best to support the tournament. For more information and refund options, please visit www.mesquiteamateur.com. We will turn our focus to planning the 2021 tournament, which will take place May 31 - June 4, 2021.

Yesterday, one Virgin Valley High School senior was presented with the Bruce King Memorial Scholarship. Scholarship board members alongside Mesquite Gaming representatives presented the graduate with a $6,000 check.

Sine 2013, the Bruce King Memorial Scholarship has been rewarded to one local student during the Mesquite Amateur. Thank you to all our amazing players who donated to this year's scholarship fund!

At this time, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Mesquite Amateur tournament to June 15-19, 2020. We will extend registration to be available until June 1, 2020, for those who were waiting to register based on our decision.

MESQUITE AMATEUR UPDATE:
We are currently awaiting the decision from the Nevada Gaming Control Board to reopen casino properties. If Mesquite properties are cleared to reopen in the coming weeks, the 2020 Mesquite Amateur will continue as scheduled on the original dates of May 25-29, 2020.
