It’s hard to believe the season is already almost coming to a close! Just so you all know, the last day of Dinner on the bricks this year is Wednesday, October 14th! 🍁

We thought we should take a minute to recognize Officer Grace Palmer and her heart for service! 🚔

Last week, Officer Palmer represented the Metamora Police Department at a benefit for the Special Olympics at Texas Roadhouse in East Peoria. According to Palmer, the benefit had a great turnout with officers from other agencies in the Peoria area participating for the wonderful cause.

Way to go, Officer Palmer! 🎉

It’s Wednesday so you know what that means–Dinner on the Bricks! 🌮🍩

For dinner, we have the always popular The Long Road Home, LLC serving up their awesome fire folds, tacos, nachos, and salads! 🌮 For dessert, give a warm welcome to the local Sece's Donuts and Treats, as this is their first time serving up dessert for Dinner on the Bricks! 🍩

The weather is perfect and we hope to see you out on the Square tonight! ☀️

Metamora Residents–It’s time to start thinking about elections! 🇺🇸

Beginning TODAY,August 25, nominating petitions can start being circulated! Packets can be picked up at the Village Admin Office during regular business hours. ⏰

Some key dates to remember:
🗓️ Filing dates–November 16-23, 2026
🗓️ 2027 Consolidated Election–April 6, 2027
