I wanted to do meaningful ready to go Catholic crafts with my daughter, Olí but I couldn’t find what I was looking for.

So I started creating them myself.

That little idea eventually became Tiny Olives: a monthly Catholic activity box, delivered to your doorstep, that helps families bring faith into everyday moments with their little ones.

We plan it.
We prep it.
We gather the materials.
We make the faith connection simple enough for little hearts to understand.

You open the box and create the moment together. ✨

Meet the Tiny Olives September Box: a Catholic activity box created for little ones to help families play, pray & grow together.

August had me thinking a lot about St. Monica and St. Augustine and about how differently we see God’s hand when we look backward.

And I think there’s something in that for all of us raising little ones in the faith.

We can bring them to Mass.
Pray beside their beds.
Tell them about the saints.
Make the crafts.
Read the stories.
Answer the questions.
Let them see us turn to God.

Some days it may feel incredibly small.

But we have no idea what God will do with those little seeds years from now.

And maybe there’s also a reminder here for anyone praying for someone they love:

Keep praying.

You may not be able to see what God is doing in their heart yet.

Our job isn’t to force the bloom.

It’s to keep planting, keep praying and trust God with the growing. 🌿

Let’s bring them to Mass, yes.

But also pray with them at home.
Tell them about Jesus.
Celebrate the saints.
Open Scripture together.
Let them see you pray.
Invite them to pray.
Let them ask questions.
Make faith part of the ordinary.

Because we’re not simply teaching our children where to go on Sundays.

We’re helping them build a relationship with Someone they can turn to every day.

She became Queen through her humble “yes” to God and because she is the mother of Jesus, our King.

So for the Feast of the Queenship of Mary, we wanted to make that beautiful truth a little more tangible.

We started by visiting our Blessed Mother and talking about how Mary is our Mother and the Queen of Heaven and Earth. 👑

And because Mary always leads us to Jesus… we spent a little time with Him in Adoration.

Exactly where Mary would want to lead us.

Then came the royal celebration.

We crowned Mary, invited the dolls to join us, set our little tea table, poured the fruit punch and raised our glasses to our Queen.

At three, she may not understand everything about the Queenship of Mary just yet.

But she understands celebrating someone we love.

She understands that Mary is special.
That Mary loves Jesus.
And that Mary always points us toward Him.

We make our faith something our kids can see, touch, experience and remember.

The deeper understanding will come.

For now, we’re planting the little seeds.

Hail, Holy Queen.

The Immaculate Heart of Mary has become especially meaningful to me through my own journey as a mama, specially a heart mama. ♥️

There’s something about celebrating Mary’s heart that makes me think about the hearts of all mothers.

A mother’s heart loves deeply. It worries, hopes, prays, hurts, trusts, sacrifices, celebrates and keeps saying “yes” over and over again for her children.

Mary teaches us this.

Her heart was completely devoted to God and to her Son. She experienced immense joy, but she also knew sorrow, uncertainty and the pain of watching her child suffer and through it all, she remained faithful.

So while this month is about honoring Mary’s Immaculate Heart, for me, it has also become a quiet reminder of the beauty and strength God places in a mother’s heart.

As I build Mary’s heart piece by piece with Olivia, I’m reminded that God is still shaping our hearts too, teaching us to love, surrender, trust and keep saying “yes” to Him throughout this motherhood journey.

And that tiny heart we placed inside Mary’s heart? That’s ours. ♥️ A little reminder that we can place our hearts with all their love, worries, hopes and prayers in Mary’s care and ask her to always lead them closer to Jesus.

Mary, help us love our children fiercely, trust God completely, and always lead our little hearts closer to Jesus.

The Assumption of Mary, through the eyes of a 3-year-old.

When we first hung this mobile by the window, Olivia was in awe watching Mary ascend to heaven with the angels. She watched me place it with so much anticipation.

Now the craft hangs in our living room, and every time she walks by she says,
“Look! Mary is going to Heaven to be with Jesus!”

At this age, she may not understand the full meaning of the Assumption. She may not remember every word I read to her or every explanation I give.

But she remembers Mary going up.
She remembers Heaven.
She remembers Jesus.
She remembers the experience.

The crafts, the words, the stories, and the little moments we create around our faith are what begin to stay in her heart.

And as she grows, we’ll keep building on them, introducing more Scripture, deeper meaning, more questions and more of the beautiful richness of our Catholic faith.

So much to celebrate Mary for this month. Her Assumption, her Queenship… so hosting a Rosé & Rosary Party with some of my favorite ladies just seemed appropriate.

The ask was simple:
💕 Dress in pink
💕 Bring a pink-inspired dish to share
💕 Bring your favorite rosary for prayer

I love hosting friends and finding themed, intentional ways to celebrate our faith, our friendships, and each other.

And for the record… no crafts were made for this one. Just a sweet party + pray afternoon filled with pink, rosé, yummy food, good friends, and time with Our Lady. 🌸🥂📿

Because living our faith can also look like gathering around a table, celebrating together, and making prayer part of the fun.

To the mom who didn’t hear the homily today…

The one who spent Mass whispering “shhh,” picking up dropped toys, handing out snacks, walking to the back, stepping outside, coming back in… and wondering if there was even a point in being there.

There was.

Maybe you didn’t hear every reading.
Maybe you couldn’t focus during the homily.
Maybe your prayer today looked more like keeping a little person from climbing under the pew.

But you showed up.

And so did they.

Little by little, they are learning:

Sunday is for Jesus.
This is where our family comes to worship.
This is where we pray.
This is where we belong.

They may not understand the Mass yet, but they are learning its rhythm simply by being there.

And one day, the child you carried out of church might be the one walking into church on their own.

So keep going.

Even when it’s messy.
Even when you spend half of Mass in the back.
Even when you leave wondering what you actually got out of it.

Because maybe, in this season, it’s not only about what you get out of Mass.

It’s also about what you’re quietly planting in them. 🌱
