🚨 MIAMI, I NEED YOU TO SHOW UP WITH ME! 🚨
I’m asking my family, friends, supporters, and community partners to join Team Shozanio’s Place Inc. for the Give Miami 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, November 15, 2026, at Maurice A. Ferré Park.
This is not just another race. This is one of our most important fundraising opportunities of the year.
As a formerly incarcerated woman, I understand what it feels like to return home and wonder, “Where do I go now?” That question inspired me to create Shozanio’s Place Inc., where we provide safe housing, support, and resources to justice-impacted women rebuilding their lives.
You do not have to be a runner! You can walk, jog, skip, or dance across the finish line. What matters is that you show up and take these meaningful steps with us.

🖤 Select Shozanio’s Place Inc. as the nonprofit you want to support
One hundred percent of your race registration fee will support the nonprofit you select. Registration is currently $45, but the price increases after October 15. Youth and children can participate too!
Will you join me? Please register, invite a friend, and share this post. Every registration will help us continue giving women a safe place to rebuild their lives with dignity, stability, and hope.
Let’s walk for second chances. Let’s walk for safe housing. Let’s walk for the women who are still asking, “Where do I go now?”
