Answering questions from my last video. Where does the fund come from? Property Taxes. Is this kind of spending normal? No. Is it possible that "Other Disbursements" went to some other form of aid/assistance that isn't categorized? It is possible, but even if all of the "Other Disbursements" went to assistance the overall picture still shows administrative costs consuming a very large share of the township assistance fund.

I recently made a video addressing important matters concerning our Township. In it, I discuss:

The impact of SEA 270 on Michigan Township

The Township’s reported budgets for the past five years

How residents can access these financial reports through the online gateway

Concerns regarding Rodney Washington’s hiring of family members to positions on the board, including Investigator and Deputy Trustee

Susan Webster and Melody Farmer voted to approve these budgets over the last five years. This demonstrates that they have not prioritized the interests of Michigan Township citizens, but rather their own interests and those of the administration.

Our Township deserves greater accountability and responsible leadership. I encourage residents to review the video and consider supporting positive change.

🌟 Proud to Stand with Our Community 🌟

What a fantastic day! I had the pleasure of joining the LaPorte County Young Republicans to paint and refresh the iconic Michigan City Lighthouse. 🇺🇸✨

It felt great to roll up our sleeves, work together, and help keep one of our community’s most beloved landmarks looking sharp. There’s real pride in taking care of the places that make Michigan City special.

Huge thanks to the LaPorte County Young Republicans for organizing this and for bringing so much energy and teamwork!

Events like this show what we can accomplish when we come together for our hometown.
