As we continue building the EmpowHER Foundation, we’re asking our community an important question:

What is Butler County missing?

What supportive services, programs, resources, or initiatives do you believe would make the biggest difference for individuals and families who are struggling?

For over 10 years, we’ve worked alongside some of our community’s most vulnerable residents, and we’ve learned that the people closest to the challenges often have the best ideas for solutions.

We’re not interested in assumptions—we want real feedback from the people who live, work, and raise families right here in Butler County.

Today was one of those days that reminded me why we started building EmpowHER.

We found out one of the housing resources shelters have relied on for families is coming to an end for now.

The hard part is that the need doesn’t end just because the funding does.

Families are still trying. Moms are still working. Kids still need safe places to call home.

Some days this work is heavy, but it’s also why we believe so strongly in what we’re building.

Big news for us today! 💜

EmpowHER Foundation’s donation page is officially live, and we’re officially an IRS-approved 501(c)(3), making donations tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Working firsthand in shelter, we’ve spent the last few years watching our single women work hard to rebuild their lives, only to discover that there are very few programs available to help them take that next step. And now, we’re seeing many of our families face the same struggle.

Too often, people are ready for housing, but deposits, first month’s rent, utility costs, and other barriers stand in the way.

That’s why we started EmpowHER Foundation.

We’re just getting started, but our hope is to build programs and assistance funds that help bridge those gaps and keep people moving forward.

🎉 BIG NEWS! 🎉

We are excited to announce that EMPOWHER Foundation has officially been recognized as a 501(c)(3) public charity by the Internal Revenue Service!

This milestone allows us to expand our impact, pursue grant opportunities, accept tax-deductible donations, and continue providing support and housing-focused services to women in our community.

What started as a vision to help women find stability, dignity, and hope is continuing to grow because of the support of our community, partners, and advocates who believe in our mission.

Thank you to everyone who has encouraged us, supported us, referred women to our programs, donated, volunteered, and believed in what we’re building.

This is just the beginning. 💜

Community Support Request

Hello everyone,

EmpowHER Living Solutions is currently seeking guidance, resources, and community connections regarding funding opportunities that support housing stability and independent living programs for vulnerable populations.

We are looking for information on Community Action Agency grants, local funding sources, nonprofit partnerships, foundation grants, sponsorship opportunities, and any other programs that may help us continue providing safe, affordable housing and support services to those in need.

If you have knowledge of available funding, grant opportunities, or can connect us with the appropriate person or organization, we would greatly appreciate your assistance.

EmpowHER Living Solutions is looking for TWO amazing people businesses churches or organizations that would like to sponsor a “Home Essentials Basket” for our shared living homes for women rebuilding their lives after hardship homelessness domestic violence recovery and crisis situations

We are wanting to create 2 fully stocked household baskets filled with everyday essentials like:
