Thank you to everyone who joined us at Stonebridge Restaurant on Wednesday for an evening in support of Sean Scanlon!

Sean has been a strong advocate for Connecticut families, working to strengthen our state's financial future, expand access to healthcare, and ensure government remains accountable to the people it serves.

I was honored to co-host the event alongside Mayor Dorinda Borer and grateful to all who attended and helped make the evening such a success. The strong turnout was a reflection of the respect and support Sean has earned through his dedication to public service.

Thank you for continuing to support leaders who are working every day to move Connecticut forward!

Today, on Memorial Day, we pause as a community to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice secured the freedoms we enjoy each and every day, freedoms that should never be taken for granted.

While Memorial Day weekend often brings family gatherings, celebrations, and the beginning of summer traditions, it is also a solemn reminder of the tremendous cost of liberty. We owe an enduring debt of gratitude to those who made the ultimate sacrifice defending our nation and protecting the values we hold dear.

As we reflect today, may we carry forward their legacy through service, compassion, and a continued commitment to one another and our community. May we always remember those we lost, honor the families who carry their memory, and strive to build a future worthy of their sacrifice.

Thank you to everyone who came out to join us on this rainy Sunday for today’s wreath laying ceremony as we honored the brave men and women who gave their lives fighting for our freedoms.

Even through the rain, our community came together in remembrance, gratitude, and respect for the heroes whose sacrifice we will never forget. Their courage and dedication to our country continue to inspire us all. May we always honor their memory and the freedoms they fought to protect.

What a weekend in Milford! ☀️

We kicked the weekend off at the Games for Hunger Food Drive, then stopped in at the 58th annual Children’s Trout Derby, the second annual Foodie Fest at Wasson Field, Opening Day for Milford’s Junior Little League, the 23rd Smooth Jazz for Scholars concert, and celebrated the beginning of First Responder’s Month and National Bike Month!

May is also Mental Health Awareness Month. Keep up to date with City Hall socials for announcements, and a reminder that Rock the Dock is May 28th!

Thank you to all event organizers, volunteers, City employees, and attendees for all you do. We are very proud of this small city with a big heart, with people who show up and gather whether for a good cause or just for fun!
