This past Saturday members of MFD attended the Charlie's Miracle Feast and Fest to support Children's Miracle Network.

Charlie and his family are truly inspirations. To go through all the trials and tribulations that your family goes through just shows a commendable amount of strength and courage. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to have been able to meet Charlie and to be able to put a bright smile on his face

Today the Millerstown Fire Department prepared 100 dozen ears of corn we had Raccoon Valley Farm grow for us. We are gearing up for our delicious homemade chicken corn soup at Christmas at the Park in Millerstown on December 5th from 11-6pm.
Huge Thank You to all the firemen and Ladies Auxiliary members for all their hard work. We were able to get 100 dozen finished quickly this year because we had purchased a 2nd Corn Creamer machine from Holt's Manufacturing. Thank you Cecil Holt for your clever invention! You make doing corn so much easier and faster. RIP Cecil !
