That’s right! You can join us at our Millis Fire Open House to pickup your very own Adopt-A-Hydrant kit. While you’re here watch one of our live demonstrations, meet the firefighters, visit with our other special guests, climb through our trucks, get a hot dog or some ice cream all while learning some very important fire safety messages.

🚑🔥 We were thrilled to be a part of this amazing collaboration between the Millis Fire Department and the Good Samaritan Medical Center staff to mentor Abby Wallace with her senior project.

Abby, underwent training to become a Stop-The-Bleed trainer and subsequently trained more than 20 faculty and staff members in the Millis School System.

The final piece of Abby's project involves deploying nearly 50 Stop-The-Bleed kits that she obtained with the help of state representatives. The kits will be strategically placed within all 3 school buildings here in Millis.

This initiative will undoubtedly enhance the safety and preparedness of our school community in the face of emergency situations. Kudos to Abby and all those involved in this critical project! 🏫💉

Trunk-or-treating tonight was so much fun! We enjoyed seeing all our friends.

Didn’t get a chance to show off your costume to us?

Come visit us Saturday from 1-3pm at the Millis Rec Dept’s touch-a-truck event where we’ll be dropping some pumpkins from the top of our ladder truck. We’ll also be out Sunday attending the trunk-or-treat event at UCC from 11:30am-12:30.
