KANDU is incredibly grateful to the Knights of Columbus for supporting us through their Tootsie Roll fundraiser and to the family of Mike Tracey for their donation in his memory.

We were saddened to hear of Mike’s passing. Mike was a valued supporter of KANDU, and everyone always loved when he stopped by for a visit. He will be missed, and we send our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

We are grateful to both the Knights of Columbus and the Tracey family for thinking of KANDU and supporting our mission.

Being reliable doesn’t mean getting everything right every time. It means making an effort, communicating when you need help, and following through on your responsibilities.

These everyday habits help build trust, strengthen teamwork, and create workplaces where people can depend on one another.

At KANDU, we believe everyone deserves opportunities to contribute, grow, and be part of a team.

Getting ready for work can involve much more than learning a specific job task.
It can mean learning how to follow a schedule, communicate with coworkers, respond to feedback, solve everyday problems, stay organized, and build confidence in a workplace setting.
KANDU supports employment readiness through vocational training, hands-on experiences, job coaching, and employment services.
These experiences help people develop skills they can carry with them as they pursue meaningful employment and greater independence.
Readiness is about building the foundation for success—not expecting someone to know everything from the start.
