Updates include restored mid-day service on four routes, schedule adjustments on 15 routes to improve reliability, routing changes on two routes, and detours related to ongoing construction projects.

Milwaukee County seniors may be eligible for assistance through the Older Adult Home Modification Program (OAHMP), which helps low-income homeowners age 62 and older remain safely and independently in their homes.

The program provides home safety improvements such as grab bars, railings, improved lighting, stair safety enhancements, tub modifications, and other accessibility upgrades designed to reduce fall risks and support aging in place.

Traffic Alert: Drivers should expect delays on WIS 100 (S. 108th Street) beginning tonight, June 4, at 10 p.m. as part of the ongoing Hale Interchange improvement project.

Southbound WIS 100 will be reduced from three lanes to one lane between Cold Spring Road and Edgerton Avenue from June 4 - 13. Northbound WIS 100 will be reduced from three lanes to one lane between Edgerton Avenue and Layton Avenue from June 8 - 13.

Good news for Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport and our regional economy: Our airport has secured an additional $8 million in federal funding to support construction of its new international terminal.

This investment will help modernize airport infrastructure, expand travel capacity, support local jobs, and strengthen Milwaukee’s competitiveness, all without relying on county property tax dollars.

Beginning Tuesday, May 26, southbound WIS 100 (S. 108th Street) will undergo long-term lane reductions between Layton Avenue and Edgerton Avenue for approximately one month as part of ongoing bridge work associated with the I-41/43/894 Hale Interchange reconstruction project.

Closures will occur in phases, beginning with single-lane reductions for approximately 10 days, followed by double-lane reductions for approximately one week, before returning to single-lane closures for the remainder of the work.
