Prevention & Awareness

Light & Unite Red is lighting up buildings in RED across the city to increase awareness of the dangers of substance use, in conjunction with Mental Illness Awareness Week, October 4-10. Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States and the 2nd leading cause among young adults, and 90% of people who die by suicide have an underlying mental illness. Substance use and mental illness often co-exist. Take the National Drug & Alcohol IQ Challenge Quiz at lightunitered.org. #414GoesRed #LUR2020
