“As an elected official, a union man and a Collective customer, I am happy to see the National Labor Relations Board certified the vote by Colectivo Workers to unionize. I salute Collective workers and IBEW for making history. Milwaukee is a proud union town. Every worker deserves good wages and safe working conditions. For too long service sector employees have been left behind in the struggle for fairness. I hope Colectivo management bargains in good faith to achieve a fair and equitable contract that works for the benefit of all parties involved. I look forward to ordering lattes and smoothies at Colectivo.”
