Office Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Email: [email protected] The County Treasurer acts as the County's banker, receiving and disbursing all funds as provided by state law and county ordinances; providing for daily cash requirements of Milwaukee County, and investing public funds not used for daily operations.

The Treasurer's Office also collects delinquent property or real estate taxes in Milwaukee County's 18 suburban municipalities as required by State Statutes. The County Treasurer also maintains property tax data that is accessible to the public at the Courthouse office.

David Cullen was elected to the office of Milwaukee County Treasurer on November 4, 2014. He was sworn into office on November 11, 2014.

Treasurer Cullen had been a Milwaukee County Board Supervisor representing the 15th District since April, 2012. He served as Co-Chair of the Finance, Personnel & Audit Committee, and as a member of the Intergovernmental Relations Committee.

Treasurer Cullen is a graduate of John Marshall High School, has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Marquette Universlty.

He has represented the 13th Disctrict in the Wisconsin State Assembly since 1990. He also served on the Milwaukee School Board from 1983-1990, including service as Board President from 1987-1990. He is also a member of the Enderis Park Neighborhood Association.

Treasurer Cullen and his wife live in Milwaukee and have 2 children.

The Milwaukee County Treasurer's Office collects delinquent property taxes only (as of August 1, 2014, 2013 and prior years) The County Treasurer is responsible for collecting delinquent property tax for all Milwaukee County municipalities except the City of Milwaukee. Unclaimed Funds

Every odd-numbered year, our office receives funds from municipalities and county departments that have been unclaimed by their proper owner. We then take on the duty of finding the rightful owners of these unclaimed funds, as provided by Wisconsin Statute 59.66.
