Criteria:
To be considered a candidate for the Snap-on Inc. Scholarship the applicant must meet the following criteria: Be a qualified, full-time student with academic status as a sophomore or junior in the fall of 2012.Be seeking a professional, baccalaureate degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology, or industrial engineering from MSOE. Maintain a MSOE minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 grading system. Reside within a commutable distance from Kenosha, Wisconsin. A Snap-on Inc. Representative will interview candidates, selected by MSOE, as finalists for the scholarship awards. Internship/Employment: If offered, the scholarship recipient must accept a compensated summer internship at the Snap-on Inc. facility in Milwaukee or Kenosha for the summer of 2013.
The Daniel J Moceri, ’76 Scholarship
Amount: $5000
Scholarship Description:
To be considerd a candidate for a Daniel J Moceri Scholarship, the applicant must meet the following criteria: Be a qualified, full-time student with academic status as a freshman or sophmore student in the fall of 2013. Be seeking an undergraduate degree in engineering from MSOE. Preference will be given to students who attended high school in Illinois District 214. Maintain an MSOE minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 grading system.
Complete a scholarship report form available in the Financial Aid Office. In a personal statement, please include why this scholarship is important, why you want to be an engineer and what your future career plans are. Also include how you are or how you will give back to others in the future. Schedule a meeting with Erik Mozolik in Financial Aid to review your submission. Daniel J. Moceri may interview candidates selected by MSOE as finalists for the scholarship awards.
