The Airman & Family Readiness Program is the service organization and focal point for Air Force airmen and family matters. MISSION: Promote informed, self sufficient, resilient Guard families that support and contribute to their unit's mission accomplishment. Milwaukee's Airman and Family Readiness page will provide you with AFR resources, information, and various programs' and organizations' events that will help you stay mission ready, informed, resilient, and prepared. Remember that your Airman and Family Resource center is here to be a focal point in helping provide resources or services needed to assist in all facets of readiness (personal, professional, and family), deployment cycle preparation and support, financial readiness, transition assistance, life skills, reintegration, volunteerism, community outreach, and always serves as your CONDUIT for information, resources, and referrals for a wide range of issues. Milwaukee's Air National Guard Airman and Family Readiness Program is dynamic by nature and strives to meet the goals of each of the squadrons assigned within the organization. Scalability, flexibility and quality service delivery are internal goals for this program. Emphasis from respective Commanders reflect program application. Core Competencies of the ANG Airman and Family Readiness Program are: Readiness: Personal, Professional & Family Phases of Deployment Information / referral and resources Volunteer Coordination Community Outreach "It isn't important to you, until it is important to you" "Folks don't know what they don't know" "Airman and Family Readiness, the traffic controller for all military matters" "If we don't know, we will connect you with someone who does"

Mission: The Airman & Family Readiness Center strengthens mission readiness, retention, and adaptation to the Air Force way of life by providing total force members and their families effective services and resources.

Brewers Quiz

The Milwaukee Brewers provided 4 ( 2 each person) complimentary tickets along with 2 preferred parking passes for the first home game of the season! Game day is Monday, April 2 @ 1:10 pm, Miller Park stadium against St. Louis Cardinals.

With the small amount of tickets we received, the ticket dissemination will be different than previous times. In order to be granted the tickets you must first complete a basic knowledge quiz on Brewers history. The highest scoring members on the quiz will then be put into the drawing for 2 tickets and a preferred parking pass, which will then be drawn on Wednesday, 28 Mar.
Be sure to input a valid email address before submitting the quiz to ensure proper notification of the winners.

Interesting approach to children, family, and introducing responsbility.

According to psychologists, when kids are given the chance to help us, they feel like fully-fledged members of the family, learn to be independent, and avoid becoming too daunted by notions of responsibility.
