Dr. Rebecca Konkel presented her research, "Spatial Analysis and Visualization of Sexual Offenses and Drug Overdoses" at the Geography Colloquium earlier this month.

Dr. Konkel partners with local agencies to identify areas that are most at risk for crime, and also, areas that may benefit the most from additional resources or community partnerships. Dr. Konkel teaches Crime Analysis courses at UWM including Analysis Oriented Technology: Spatial Data Analysis & Crime Mapping, and Advanced Analytic Techniques for Crime Analysts.
