Become a Volunteer | Interfaith Caregivers of Ozaukee
One Interfaith Caregivers of Ozaukee County client can be heard saying: “I never expected a volunteer like Joe. He is such a good friend. He’s my savior.”
Meet Joe Graf! Joe drives Marilyn, an Interfaith Ozaukee client, to her appointments and errands. They have developed a special bond. Joe not only drives her several times per week, but also has helped her with projects around the house and checks with neighbors to be sure she is looked after when he’s not available. He even researched and installed a special musical doorbell so Marilyn can hear when she has a visitor. On nice days, Joe drives Marilyn in his convertible so she can feel the wind in her hair and really enjoy the ride.
Senior Corps members in Wisconsin continue to make a huge difference on this .
