What a FANTASTIC time at Chill on the Hill with so many amazing neighbors. The rain sprinkled a little in the beginning, but then the sky opened up, neighbors came our, and the MSO playing in the background was the perfect soundtrack. Thanks for an amazing summer night Bay View Neighborhood Association!

It was an eventful first day of Pride weekend! First joining Supervisor Steve F. Taylor honoring the 20th anniversary of Sweeney's Gym on Howell Ave as they hosted a car show raising money for children’s cancer research. And then kicking off pride with Chairwoman Marcelia Nicholson before the parade today. All that on top of it first South Shore Farmers' Market of the season, and grilling cheeseburgers! Looking forward to another day full of pride today!

**PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT**
Milwaukee County Board Committee on Audit will be review three substantial reports at Monday's meeting. The public is encouraged to attend either in person or virtually. These reports include:

- The first report on the audit of Milwaukee Transit's governing board, which includes 15 recommendations for improved governance. This audit is a direct response to the $10.9 million deficit discovered last year, and the recommendations are meant to prevent that ever happening again.

- Updates on the audit of the Milwaukee County Jail, and reviews of their progress on implementing the changes that audit recommended last year.

- A review of the communications timeline that led up to the lapse in Milwaukee County's contract with United Health Care earlier this year.

The meeting will take place at 3pm in room 203-R at the Milwaukee County Courthouse. If these items are of interest to you, but you are not able to join us, the Jail Audit report will be heard again during the Committee for Judiciary, Law Enforcement, and General Services. The communication timeline will be reviewed again at the committees for Personnel and Finance.

Incredibly excited for the opening of our pools, wading pools, and splash pads! District 4's three splash pads - Humboldt Park, Saveland Park, and Tippecanoe Park - will open by June 20th (weather permitting)! Thank you Milwaukee County Parks and to all those who applied to be lifeguards!

It was great to celebrate the opening of Humboldt Park School's outdoor classroom with StateRep. Christine Sinicki. The dedication of these teachers and students is amazing, and the way their entire playground has been transformed is truly awe inspiring. Here's to warmer weather, am I right?
