Good afternoon Brothers!

The traveling piston has been taken to Saint Augustine by the Branded Brothers Chapter. If you want to take this piston home to your chapter, you will need to come and get it! The next meeting for Branded Brothers will be held March 22, 2024. The meeting will be held at the Pelican Pub. Dinner is at 6pm with the meeting to follow at 7pm. I have put the address below.

Just a quick reminder of the rules:
1. Four PATCHED Brothers minimum are required
2. Two MUST be Elected officers Prez, VP, Treasurer or Secretary
3. ALL MUST RIDE
4. If more than one chapter shows up, the chapter that rode the furthest gets it
5. You must inform the Chapter that currently holds the piston that you are coming to take it.
6. If more than one chapter is coming, the current chapter should not divulge that information to anyone outside their chapter.

The goal is to get as many Brothers traveling as possible. Take as many pictures as you can so we can post them on the Traveling Piston FB page. There are currently 21 Chapters in FL. Quick math suggests it will take less than 2 years to completely make the rounds. I will tell you Branded Brothers love having the traveling piston. Whomever gets it next, won't have it for long.

Good afternoon Brothers. This is a lot of information. I will try to make it as simple to read as possible.

As discussed at the Presidents Summit, we will donate to the Masonic Home from Widows Sons of Florida as a whole. Each chapter should make their check payable to Widows Sons of Florida. That check needs to be mailed to the Grand Chapter VP (and Treasurer), Chris Purdy. I have his mailing address below. The Pilgrimage is coming up fast. Please do not wait till the last minute to send your donation.

I have tried to secure a hotel rate and block rooms for the pilgrimage. I have been talking to a lady who apparently no longer works at the hotel. The "new" management has informed me they will not be blocking off rooms or giving group rates. That being said, I believe the La Quinta Inn & Suites is still probably one of the best choices to stay. They share a parking lot with Quaker Steak and L**e, and across the street is Harley Davidson and OCC roadhouse. OCC always has live music and pretty good food. I will put the hotel information below. It is super easy to navigate from this hotel to the Lodge or Masonic home.

Nitram Lodge usually hosts the Widows Sons for breakfast the day of the pilgrimage. I am still waiting to see if they plan on doing it again this year. If they host us for breakfast, I will lead the ride from the lodge to the Masonic home Saturday morning. I will post details for that when I have them. I have included the flyer for the pilgrimage for your convenience below.
