🌟 Meet the Board Member: Kim! 🌟
We’re excited to spotlight one of our amazing Iowa Society for Respiratory Care leaders—Kim, District #5 Director!

🎉 Kim is in her first year on the board, bringing with her over 13 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist. She currently serves as a Market Development Director with United Therapeutics, a pulmonary hypertension biopharmaceutical company.
Kim is passionate about advancing the respiratory care profession, supporting RTs across Iowa, and creating opportunities for connection, education, and professional growth. One of her favorite parts of being involved with IaSRC is building relationships with RTs across the state and advocating for the future of our field.

💙 Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, golfing, tackling home design projects, and cheering on her kids at their activities.

✨ Fun Facts About Kim:
🍤 Favorite food: Seafood
🏖️ Beach > Mountains (always!)
🎶 Favorite concert: Paul McCartney with her mom—front row memories of a lifetime!
🐾 Pet: Howie, her 13-year-old dachshund-terrier rescue
🎉 Loves hosting & planning events
🌟 Professional highlight: Former President of the South Dakota Society for Respiratory Care (2019–2020)

💬 Favorite RT Memory:
Kim holds a special place in her heart for volunteering at Camp Foster’s Asthma Camp in Okoboji. Watching kids with asthma gain confidence, have fun, and just be kids outside of the hospital setting was incredibly meaningful. This summer will be extra special as her 7-year-old son attends Camp Foster for the first time!

👏 Thank you, Kim, for your leadership, enthusiasm, and dedication to the RT community in Iowa!
