It is vital that those of us holding space for the sacred healing journeys of others to tap into support and consultation for ourselves. Even the most experienced and resourced of practitioners will find themselves in situations and dynamics where 3rd party insight is quintessential to the integrity and intentionality of the therapeutic container. For this reason, the RC hosts 2 monthly consultation circles for clinicians and space holders to invite an inter-collegiate and international community of solidarity workers to the table of consultation and wisdom exchange. 👁️

This month we are hosting both consultation circles next Tuesday, June 30th on the topic Breaking Binaries; a pride edition discussion curated by Lee Start, LICSW, LADC 🌈

Subscribe to either of our 2 consultation groups to access this discussion next week and expand your wisdom council as the lifelong learner you are 🛸

We are proud to bring forth a new CEU training available now on our website for mental health professionals and sacred space holders:

Religious Trauma: What is it? How can I Treat it?
Facilitated by Michelle F. Moseley, MS, LCMHC, NCC, BC-TMH

Participants in this 6 credit training will deepen their understanding of religious trauma through both clinical frameworks and lived experiences. You’ll learn how to assess and conceptualize religious harm, explore its developmental and diagnostic impacts, and gain practical tools to support clients in healing and reclaiming their identities.

This training approved for CE’s through the board of social work, the board for behavioral health and therapy, and the board of marriage and family therapy

Our sincere apologies, as the day has come to review all applications in preparation to grant scholarships to as many community members as possible, and we have realized a big technological error on our part —
our application didn’t collect emails for any applicants.

If you applied for a scholarship this Summer, please email us with your name and preferred email contact so we can confirm with you directly the status of your application.

You do NOT need to re-apply, as we have already designated our scholarship recipient list but hope to hear from everyone to ensure smooth access to groups beginning next month.

Beyond grateful to have held space with 2 MSW interns over the past 9 months — Lisa and Kelsey 🫀

I couldn’t have known how mutually beneficial and necessary you both would become to the RC and my capacity to keep my head above water as the interim executive director 🌈

Pictured are Kayla and Lisa in beloved Minneapolis for a walk around Powderhorn honoring the completion of this internship cycle — wishing both Kelsey and Lisa all the success and abundance as you complete her MSW programs and embody solidarity work in whatever adventures await 👁️
