No one rebuilds alone.

Times are hard for a lot of people, and kindness truly helps keep all of us going in our most difficult moments.

This is why we prioritize connecting the veterans in our program with our surrounding community. We recognize that there is a stability that comes with that feeling of belonging and contributing to a community. This is one of the pillars we address to help veterans get back on their feet.

"Thank you for your service."

Many of us say those words to veterans often: in the grocery store, at a restaurant, or while enjoying an ice cream cone at the county fair.

How many of us take time to thank them with our actions and our resources?

Mishawaka Troop Town was created by veterans, for veterans, with a passion for ending veteran homelessness in Michiana. We do this by providing more than transitional housing to address their immediate needs; we also provide resources to help them address the underlying struggles that led them there.

It's great to say thank you with words. But today, we challenge you: consider taking it a step further.

Since officially launching our program in December 2025, we've welcomed veterans who lived on the streets, in their vehicles, or were nearing eviction or couch surfing. We provide more than housing; our guests also receive counseling, financial coaching, and community connections to help them rebuild their lives.

You can partner with us through fundraisers, giveback nights, or by simply purchasing an honor brick. We would be proud to display your business in our honor brick garden and are deeply grateful for all who support this important mission.
