📸 Last week’s Community-Engaged Learning (CEL) Fellows Workshop brought together an incredible group of faculty committed to strengthening community partnerships and student learning.

Congratulations to Dr. Hye Yeon Park on being selected as a Community-Engaged Learning (CEL) Faculty Fellow at Mississippi State University!

Through this fellowship, Dr. Park will continue developing community-engaged learning experiences that support student growth and advance the public good through reciprocal, community-centered partnerships. She also plans to integrate this CEL approach into her community-engaged design studio moving forward.

Our LA2654 students visited Chicago’s Wild Mile yesterday! 🌿🌊 They explored innovative approaches to urban ecology, waterfront design, and public space. 🏙️ The visit provided students with the opportunity to experience sustainable landscape architecture concepts in a real-world setting. ✨

Our LA2654 students explored Chicago’s The 606📍 and visited the office of Hoerr Schaudt📍 to learn more about impactful landscape architecture projects, urban trail design, and professional practice in the field.
