The 1184th Terminal Management Team (TMT) conducted a ‘Flagging’ ceremony, uncasing the team’s guidon for the first time. This ceremony was a visual reminder that TMTs are SDDC’s “units of action” and align with MG Lance Curtis’, SDDC Commanding General, intent.

GUNNIN’ GAMBLERS!

The 1184th DDSB conducted weapons qualification at Camp Shelby, Mississippi this week. Soldiers from HHD, 1184th TMT, 369 ETOE, and 541 ETOE joined together to conduct an ACFT, hone Army Warrior Tasks, and qualify with the M4 Carbine and M17 Pistol. Additionally, recently qualified drivers were able to self-transport the battalion in tactical vehicles throughout the training.

Eglin AFB - SSG Carter and the DDST walks the 350th CACOM planners and UMOs through the 120-day deployment brief, highlighting the configuration and documentation requirements for cargo deployment. Thanks to MSG Orunmbe, SSG Carter, SSG Usry, and SGT Thomas for their professionalism and expertise by instructing a fellow USAR unit!

Mr. Christopher Johnson is our Warhorse of the Week! His exceptional contributions during the operations of the Liberty Peace, Alliance Norfolk, and Liberty Power vessels at the Port of Gulfport were invaluable. Mr. Johnson worked closely with vessel crews to address HAZMAT concerns and navigated cargo booking challenges with remarkable efficiency. His dedication and proactive approach ensured seamless operations, all while maintaining full compliance with regulations. His efforts were instrumental to the success of the 842nd Transportation Battalion. 🙌⚓

Soldiers from 1184th TMT, 369 ETOE, and 541st ETOE came to the headquarters in Mobile, Alabama in March to complete the road testing for licensure on HMMWVs and LMTVs. Great job, 1184th!
