We took our baby girl to Disneyland for the first time and I kept thinking about how fast this season of life is moving.

The sticky hands.
The excitement & wonder in her eyes.
The way she held on just a little tighter.

These are the moments we tell ourselves we’ll never forget, but we do.

To My Pookie, Mudder, Dada,

On this Mother’s Day, I just want to pause the world for a second and remind you of how special you are.

Watching you be a Mom is one of the greatest honors of my life. But the word “mother” barely begins to hold the weight of all that you are. You are a fighter. A dreamer. A student with a purpose. A woman who worked through ten years of heartbreak and hope to bring our child into this world. You never gave up—we never gave up—and now, our little miracle exists because of your courage.

And still, after all that, you get up and push yourself further. Studying and chasing a dream of helping other families walk the same hard road we walked. You don’t just carry love you multiply it.

You are the strongest woman I know, and the most beautiful soul I’ve ever met. Today, I want you to feel deeply seen, endlessly loved, and wholly appreciated for everything you’ve done, everything you are, and everything you’re becoming.
