Dear Friends,
I am writing this letter with a heart full of gratitude and a touch of nostalgia as I prepare to close this chapter and say farewell as the owner of Monroe River Valley Farm For 15 years, you have been at the center of everything we do. Your support, trust, and loyalty have not just been the foundation of our business; they have been the inspiration behind our passion.
It’s the relationships we’ve built, the moments we’ve shared, and the satisfaction of serving you that have made this journey so incredibly rewarding.
This business was a dream brought to life alongside my beloved late husband, James Lorkowski. We started this journey together, and every success we achieved was a testament to his hard work, dedication, and spirit. Since his passing, your continued support has been a remarkable source of strength and comfort for me. It felt as though you were all part of our extended family, honoring his legacy with every visit and every interaction. Your kindness during that difficult time will never be forgotten.

Thank you for choosing us when you had other options. Thank you for your feedback, which helped us grow and improve. Thank you for the smiles, the conversations, and for allowing us to be a small part of your special occasions, and sometimes daily routines 🥰

I had a wonderful time preparing Paula's dried herb-infused rigatoni pasta!
Pasta Dough Recipe:
400 ml (2-1/2) cups Organic White Flour- sifted
208 ml (1 cup) Organic Semolina Flour
207 ml (4 Eggs) Organic Eggs- beaten
105 ml cold Water 1-1/2 tsp Sea Salt
Mix flours and salt together in a large bowl. Beat the four eggs, pour the flour into a KitchenAid mix mixing bowl, and slowly add in the beaten eggs, then the water. Mix until very firm, then put on a cutting board or countertop. Divide dough and knead until dough is glossy. Option: if you would like to add dried herbs like I did, I added 1 tablespoon of dried herbs to the flour mixture. Enjoy!!
