The late great David Hose is the man behind the iconic murals you’ll see when you visit Monroe, WA. During his life, Hose painted dozens of murals, contributing several to the city when he arrived in Monroe in 2004. In 2024, the City of Monroe issued a proclamation recognizing and honoring his work. Today Hose’s vibrant, colorful legacy lives on, courtesy of his vignettes of small town Americana, natural Pacific Northwest beauty, and tributes to fallen soldiers.
