Proud to endorse Josh Mittness for Wisconsin State Assembly. It’s been an honor to get to know him and work alongside of him for a better Wisconsin. A good friend and a good choice for District 50. FORWARD!

I am proud to announce a very special endorsement from Green County Board Supervisor Nicole Wilcox!

"In his book, It Worked for Me, Colin Powell shared thirteen rules that guided his leadership. One that has always stayed with me is: 'Perpetual optimism is a force multiplier.' Working with Josh over the past year and a half, I’ve seen that spirit in action. He doesn’t sugarcoat the challenges we face as a state, but he meets them with determination, compassion, and a genuine commitment to making life better for everyday Wisconsinites.

Josh is someone who understands the realities facing working families because he lives them too. He’s a hardworking family man with a strong sense of civic duty, clear values, and a drive to find practical solutions that help people and communities thrive. I trust him to lead with integrity and heart, and I’m proud to endorse him for State Representative."

Thank you Nicole!! It has been a pleasure getting to know you. You are a wonderful mom, and someone I am proud considers me worth endorsing. True progressive change can only come from the people themselves. And, only if they are willing to work hard to fight for it. We are all in this together, and together we are strong. FORWARD Wisconsin!

Before moving to Baltimore and back to Monroe, I spent several years working in Madison towards systemic racial justice in the court system and food accessibility as well as ally education and mobilization.

Needless to say, I’m so excited this event is coming to the Monroe Library. Join us in taking a closer look at our history this Juneteenth.

(And while you’re at it, consider supporting black owned businesses, black led community organizations, black artists, and more this Juneteenth… and beyond.)

Please join us!
