Somehow it’s August and is more than half over. This one has been a lot for us - we moved…again!…but thankfully we stayed in town and this will be the last move for a good long while. Now we’re mostly settled in and I’m back to . Loved making this birthday cake - strawberry cake layers, vanilla bean buttercream, berries inside - and my kind of hot dogs - buttercream ones!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas out there - the mamas who love us unconditionally (looking at you ). The mamas who guide us and show us the way. The mamas who are struggling. The mamas trying to become mamas. The mamas who are suffering loss. The mamas who make it look easy, because being a mama is hard as hell. Being a mom of 3 young kids is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. It’s physical, it’s emotional, it’s mentally challenging. It’s unrelenting. It’s messy. It’s SO loud. And despite all that is one of the best things I’ve ever done. But it’s not for everyone. Every woman deserves the choice of being a mom. Here’s to all the moms out there…today & every day 💐💕
