A look back at APCSC’s March training session, “Staying in the Wake and Above Board,” where charter school leaders from across our portfolio and future leaders came together for professional development, collaboration, and meaningful conversations centered on leadership and governance.

Congratulations to Covenant Academy Of Mobile on receiving a grant from the Laura Bush Foundation for America’s Libraries 📚to support the continued expansion of library resources and literacy opportunities for students at CAM. This funding will support the continued strengthening and expansion of the school’s library resources and literacy opportunities for students.

CAM was one of only 220 schools across 38 states selected to receive funding this year. Congratulations to the Covenant Academy community and to Ms. McCants for her work in securing this meaningful opportunity.

📚 Big news for our Royal Eagles! 🎉

Covenant Academy of Mobile has been awarded a $5,000 grant from the Laura Bush Foundation for America’s Libraries to help strengthen and expand our school library resources!

Keep the pages turning this summer! 📚☀️ Alabama students are invited to participate in the Governor’s Summer Reading Challenge as our nation prepares to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. 🇺🇸Summer reading is a great way for students to continue learning, growing, and strengthening literacy skills beyond the classroom.

We encourage families and schools across Alabama’s public charter community to join the challenge and keep the love of reading going all summer long. ✨

Exciting momentum continues in Dothan as TIME Leadership Academy prepares to open as the city’s first charter school following recent approval by the Alabama Public Charter School Commission. Pre-enrollment is now underway ahead of the school’s planned opening next fall.

💜💼 Great work, Empower Community School!
Scholars recently showcased creativity, confidence, and real-world business skills during the school’s “Future Millionaires” presentations. From developing business ideas to calculating profits and presenting their findings, students demonstrated the power of hands-on learning and entrepreneurship in action.
