Our first musical act to announce for the 2026 Lake Cumberland Fall Fest is Monticello's own Spooky Fox. He is one of the most unique independent Americana and folk-rock acts out of southern Kentucky. Be sure to mark your calendar for Friday October 23rd as Spooky Fox takes the stage. More announcements to be coming soon.

Lake Cumberland Fall Fest TENT VENDOR REGISTRATION NOW OPEN ‼️ 🍂

Event Date: Saturday October 24, 2026
Vendor Event Time: 9am-4pm EST

We are now accepting applications for TENT vendors at this year's Fall Fest event. Please note: This does NOT include food trucks. Food truck registration will go through Todd McFarland and will open at a later date.

Tent vendors include boutiques, baked goods, arts and crafts, woodworking, etc. This vendor section will be set up near the front of the park along Michigan Avenue like it was last year.

That’s a wrap. Visit Monticello Ky attended its first Kentucky State Fair this year and it was a huge success. Over 600,000 people attended the 11 day long fair and thousands come by our booth to talk with us about what Monticello and Wayne County has to offer. Thanks to all those that come by and visited with us. A big thanks to Kathleen and Epp Walls along with Emily Conley for staffing the booth for a couple days.

Our ducks are in a row for the final day of the 2026 Kentucky State Fair. There is still time to stop by and see us at the Visit Monticello Ky booth. The show is open till 6pm today.

The Cornbread Festival will take place TOMORROW, Saturday, August 29th from 9am-6pm at the Mill Springs Mill Recreational Area. Make make plans to attend this great community event!

Just some of the thousands of visitors we have had in the first couple days of the Kentucky State Fair. Everyone is loving the Lake Cumberland Fortune Cookies and signing up for the Visit Monticello Orca Cooler. You still got time to see us as the fair runs through August 30th in Louisville at the Kentucky Exposition Center

The Quilt show of the Little Mountains will be Labor Day Weekend at The Aspire Center in Monticello. September 4th from 9am-5pm and September 5th from 9am-4pm. Admission is $5 and children 12 and under are FREE. Hope to see you there.
