Did you know? Your representative, Heidi Scheuermann of Stowe, voted against the child tax credit bill. Working families deserve better.

This bill would support the health, wellbeing and economic security of Vermont children and families by allowing eligible working Vermonters to claim a credit of $1,200 per child six years old or younger. It's estimated this would support 51,000 children in Vermont in 2022.

The Vermont House of Representatives has approved a bill that would create a $1,200 tax credit for the parents or caregivers of most children under age 6.

Yesterday the Vermont House passed the Reproductive Liberty Amendment on a vote of 107-41! Now it’s up to us - the voters - to show up in November and vote to enshrine reproductive liberty for all Vermonters.
