Did you know? Your representative, Heidi Scheuermann of Stowe, voted against the child tax credit bill. Working families deserve better.

This bill would support the health, wellbeing and economic security of Vermont children and families by allowing eligible working Vermonters to claim a credit of $1,200 per child six years old or younger. It's estimated this would support 51,000 children in Vermont in 2022.

This bill would support the health, wellbeing and economic security of Vermont children and families by allowing eligible Vermonters (earning $200,000 or less annually) to claim a credit of $1,200 per child six years old or younger. It's estimated this would support 51,000 children in Vermont in 2022.
