This powerful fundraising version of "Home Sweet Home", was recorded last year by Dolly Parton and Mötley Crüe to support Covenant House International, an organization standing in the gap for youth experiencing homelessness.

Here is a statistic that should stop you in your tracks:
40%–50% of youth who age out of foster care become homeless within 18 months.
These are young people stepping into adulthood with no safety net, no support system, and often no place to call home.

What we love about this project is simple - these artists are using their God‑given talents to lift up some of the most vulnerable young people in our society. Their voices become a bridge to hope.

And it makes us wonder…

At YoungLives Columbia Basin, we walk alongside pregnant and parenting teen moms and remind them they are seen, loved, and not alone.

This summer, we have the incredible opportunity to send our teen moms — and their babies — to camp. It’s a beautiful, resort-style setting where they will experience rest, laughter, mentorship, and powerful moments learning about Jesus.

For many of these young moms, this will be the first time:
✨ They’ve stepped away from daily stress
✨ They’ve been encouraged instead of judged
✨ They’ve experienced Christian community
✨ They’ve truly heard the Gospel in a personal way

Camp is more than a getaway — it’s life-changing. It’s where walls come down, faith takes root, and hope is restored.

Join us for the 4th Annual Care Fair! Care Moses Lake invites you to its 4th Annual Care Fair on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Division Street in downtown Moses Lake.

Learn more about volunteering your time, making a financial donation, or simply spread the word about the incredible work being done by local organizations, your support makes a real impact. This will be especially fun for those of us that miss making lunches for our children years ago! Let's show Care Moses Lake how we support our community. ❤️

This week was just incredible, we normally have a core group of 12+/- volunteers and this week we had 33! It was a whirlwind...we made 200 Care Sack lunches and 40 Breakfast sacks for the Open Doors Sleep Center, our local food bank and Big Bend Community College's Viking Food Pantry & 750 Care Snack bags for the Boys & Girls Club. Thanks so much to everyone for coming to GIVE BACK and for those that stayed late to help with supplies & inventory, cleanup and for decorating sacks for the next few weeks. We appreciate you all and hope to see you next Tuesday @ 4pm, Immanuel Lutheran Church.
