Thank you to Tornado Tavern for hosting last nights event. We would also like to thank everyone who attended and made contributions.

Together, $1,265 was raised for the program. We couldn’t be more thankful for the ongoing support to keep this program going.

Blek was able to stop at the store for a quick lunch snack thanks to you!

Thank you to the Kulpmont Fire Department for inviting us to Kulpmont's Community Day. Not only did they allow us to attend, but they generously donated $500 dollars each to Mount Carmel K9, Coal Township K9, and Shamokin K9.

Thank you for your generosity and for everything you do for your community and the surrounding areas.

A special thank you to the students of Mount Carmel Elementary School for the gifts and thank you letters for K9 Blek and Officer Freiler.

They provided us with some tasty and healthy treats, an awesome new Nerf dog toy, and an Amazon gift card to help purchase supplies.

Along with these gifts, the students also wrote and decorated personalized thank you letters for us. We couldn’t be more thankful and proud of your hard work this school year. We hope you enjoy summer vacation and we will see you next year!

Patrolman Evan Freiler of the Mount Carmel Borough Police Department and his K9 Officer Blek, stopped by to see the 4th graders of the Mount Carmel Area Elementary School. Patrolman Freiler explained Officer Blek's role in the police department, while the K9 displayed the skills he's been trained to do. The students pictured were recognized for their outstanding dedication to reading this school year. They have been named the TOP DOG readers in the 4th grade and unofficially became a part of "Officer Blek's Brigade". Collectively, the students have read over 2500 books since January.
