Well, the 2022 season of the outdoor Mount Prospect Farmers Market came to an end on October 30th. We had a great summer-we met a lot of new people and welcomed back some familiar faces to our booth. We also had fun each week with the other vendors around us!
Thank you to the Lions Club for hosting this market, and for all of your assistance during the season. A special thanks to our favorite Lion, Nick. We wish you continued health and happiness !!
The day after the market ended, we hopped on a plane and headed to our favorite place (that many of you have heard us talk about over and over again 🤣), St. John, USVI!! We couldn’t wait to get “Under the Palm Palms”!!! 🌴🌴. The sunshine, palm trees, and calm blue waters were exactly what we needed for a little R&R! And yes, we did get to swim again with the turtles!! 🐢🐠🐢🐠
As promised, during our stay there, we visited our Friends at the Virgin Islands National Park Visitors Center, and made our donation (from the sales of our turtle ornaments). Thanks to all who purchased these ornaments to help the cause. The Friends of VINP is a non-profit organization which runs programs such as the Sea Turtle Monitoring and Protection program, as they are a protected species. We love the work they do to facilitate research, as well as educate the public about these beautiful creatures! 🐢🐢
We look forward to next season at the market, but in the meantime-if you need a charcuterie/cutting/serving board for a unique gift or just to give yourself-we are available to take your order. Just email us @ [email protected], and we can make it happen!
