Join the Mount Prospect Downtown Merchants Association for their annual Fall Fest and Oktoberfest - September 22nd and 23rd in Downtown Mount Prospect (Emerson St and Busse Ave)! The Oktoberfest event will kick off on Friday evening, September 22nd, from 4:00 – 11:00 p.m. Live entertainment will get the party going while you enjoy your favorite traditional German food and beverages. mber 23rd, the day begins with the Fall Festival, one of the best FREE fall family events in the suburbs. The event will be held in Downtown Mount Prospect from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. The fun will include hay rides, pony rides, pumpkin decorating, crafts and balloons, and stilt walker. There will be a Special Needs Hour reserved for families with children with special needs from 12:00pm to 1:00pm (reservations required). Immediately following the Fall Festival, stick around for the party to kick into high gear with Mount Prospect’s Oktoberfest from 4 – 11 pm also in downtown Mount Prospect (Emerson Street and Busse Ave.).
