Yes, yes I did. But look at this join!! It’s sooo good!

Yesterday my seven month old snuggled up with his Autumn Acorn Baby Blanket and I couldn’t help but get some photos.

I think baby blankets are one of the best things to make. You can play with colors, textures, and usually they don’t take too long to make.

Meet the Autumn Acorn Baby Blanket!!

Based on the same design as my table runner pattern, this baby blanket showcases my favorite stitch with some extra detail on the border.

Start with the moss stitch in turned rows, then add a special border featuring cute little picots.

My favorite look is using a contrasting color for the border, but tomorrow you will see a second sample where I used a variegated yarn for the whole blanket!

Remember this??

One of my favorite designs is the Autumn Acorn Table Runner crochet pattern.

It is the one thing I pull out every fall. I have made several different versions over the years and love every single one!

So what did I do? Turn it into a baby blanket design! The pattern is releasing on Friday, just in time to start crocheting for a fall baby.

Finally, my finished top!

This top was an impulse cast on because I happened to have the perfect yarn for it. But I finished it and wore it to Flock!

I was nervous about having the dark pink as the main color but am glad that I kept with it. I love how it turned out!

My Everywhere Tote by woolbird | Brianna is finished!

Would you believe it if I said that crocheting the bag was the easiest part??? 😅

I don’t sew very much, as in I’ve made like 2 pillowcases as an adult… but I decided that this bag needed a liner and nobody was going to stop me.

Did I do the easy thing and break out my sewing machine? Of course not. I sewed the liner together by hand (complete with 3 pockets) and then sewed it onto my bag.

Is it perfect? Definitely not. But I am in love, and will be bringing it with me to Flock!

Also, while I may be proud of what I made I will not be picking up sewing anytime soon lol.
My thumb hurts 🤣
