Due to the concerns we have received inquiring about the recent measles outbreak, our district office received the following guidelines from the state on measles and the MMR vaccine.

If you fall under any of these criteria, you are considered immune and do not need to get another MMR vaccine.
1. Had the disease (lab confirmed)
2. Had both of the MMR vaccines
3. Born before 1957

If you were born on or after 1957 and have not been vaccinated, you need ONE dose of MMR.

If you have any questions, please contact us at 912-583-4602.
