Mullan Advocates: Coalition for Concerned Citizens-CCC Grassroots effort for Positive Change in our Community. We are advocating for the safety and welfare of Children in our community.

Our goals this year include the implementation of a Neighborhood Watch Program and Community Drug Task Force with a focus on the eradication of indoor Pot farms. We see the production and manufacture of drugs in our community as a negative influence on Children, it encourages crime and other adverse experiences for this vulnerable population. Also, accountability for our elected officials, specifi

cally the Mayor and City Council President. We want public information more accessible, eliminating the barriers that make finding the truth about our finances and accounting of taxpayers money over the course of the last 15 years more available. We want our elected officials held responsible for their activities in our community, both private and public.

Bud Cramer, founder of the Children’s Advocacy Center Model and the NCAC, spoke to the Southern Regional Children's Advocacy Center (a program of the NCAC) breakout session during the recent NCA Leadership Conference in Washington, DC. He provided an outstanding history of the founding of the CAC model and early efforts to build these programs over the past 28 years. A majority of the attendees had never had the opportunity to hear him speak and were inspired by his legacy of not only founding this model, but also continue to advocate for the federal support of these programs through his extensive relationships on Capitol Hill.
