This week was National CPR & AED Awareness Week!

Did you know that every Our House facility is equipped with at least one Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and every Our House employee is certified in CPR and AED use?

The safety and well-being of the people we serve is always a top priority. We are committed to being prepared to respond in an emergency. Not just this week, but every week of the year.

Pictured here is our President & CEO, Michele DelCorsano, participating in a CPR training session last year led by our Onboarding Manager, Abi Balogun.

We are grateful to the funders and donors who have helped make this lifesaving initiative possible, including The John Taylor Babbitt Foundation, Catholic Human Services, Christ Church Summit NJ, Jack and Cynthia Mathis, and many others. Thank you for helping us create safer communities for everyone at Our House!

"Happy National Creativity Day! 🎨✨

We’re celebrating with highlights from last month’s Creativity Show hosted by our Bridgewater Day Programs. Participants proudly showcased their original artwork, including photos from their fashion show! We also enjoyed performances from our choir and an exciting karate demonstration by Master Paul Del Sordo of Del Martial Arts.

It was a wonderful day filled with talent, confidence, and creativity as everyone embraced their inner artist.

Robert Alston, DSP at HAS New Providence, exemplifies hard work and dedication every single day. His commitment to the individuals we serve is truly inspiring.

Christiana Campbell, our Director of Residential Services, leads with professionalism, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the mission of Our House. In 2026, she was honored with the Louis B. White Award in recognition of her exceptional dedication to our residents.

Roxanne Peterson, DSP at VAP Woodbridge, brings joy, encouragement, and support to every participant she works with.

Nicholette Scantlebury, Residential Area Director, is a constant source of positivity and support for her team, always willing to step in and lend a helping hand.
