Doing our best to try to rescue dogs in need, provide service dogs to veterans and others who need them and network the heck out of K-9 Rescue causes to save dogs in danger of being killed and abused at high kill shelters. The official Military Working Dog Center is located at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX. Our nonprofit organization is

not directly linked to the DoD, nor do we pretend to be. However, be aware, there are many people and nonprofits that make invalid claims and also pretend to be our nonprofit... they are not. There are honest and caring working dog charities we know about, but the ones that have utilized our name and integrity, those you should be concerned about. WE ARE NOT ASSOCIATED OR PART OF THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE

So much stress, sickness and other overwhelming things.... couldn't even post the good stuff like fully sponsoring a Service Dog for a Vet, months and months ago. Will try to find pics to upload the happy duo.

We're in a heap of trouble folks. In all areas. Praying for miracle, someone or someones to help in various ways...just did not come to fruition.

The long ZIPPER of staples and incision will be reviewed by the surgeon on June 2.  Hopefully there is no infection and they can remove the staples. I appreciate the donations made by those that have. It's so easy to think, if only we can get about 4000 $1.00 donations,  the monetary stress w

May 25, 2016 Boddi is getting stronger and the zipper of staples come out in 3 to 7 days.  Next issues are infection,  but I kept him clean as possible;   Watching that the few cancer cells did not migrate and all were just in that mass

K-9 Rescue and Service Dog Boddi had emergency surgery on May 12, 2016, to remove a large mass on his chest that was about to rupture. Even though the surgery was done, the bill cannot be paid for by his Dad, who also happens to have founded the Military Working Dog Foundation. ( )...
