Need help with back-to-school shoes for your child? Mission for Area People's Happy Feet program provides brand-new shoes to eligible K–12 students from low-income families.

Join us for Local Govt. 101 & The Mystery of the Millage, a casual, free community workshop designed to break down the basics in plain English.

We’ll be covering:

The Basics: Who actually runs what in our city and county.
The Math: What a millage actually calculates to in real dollars and how it impacts your neighborhood.
The Ballot: How to read local proposals so you can make informed choices when you vote.
