💙 WORLD DROWNING PREVENTION DAY 💙
Today is a day that carries a meaning far deeper than I could ever fully explain.
Drowning can happen quickly, quietly, and when families least expect it. It does not always look the way people imagine, and it only takes a few moments for an ordinary day around water to become a lifelong tragedy.
But drowning is preventable.
Please stay within arm’s reach of young children near water, put phones and distractions away, use properly fitted life jackets, secure pools with barriers, and make sure every adult understands who is actively supervising.
Never assume someone else is watching.
Never assume shallow water is harmless.
Never assume silence means everything is okay.
Water safety is not about creating fear. It is about creating awareness, preparing families, and protecting lives.
I also have a link available on this page where families can apply to receive a free life jacket. And there's a link for a fun water safety quiz. Every family deserves access to basic water-safety equipment, and I never want the cost to be the reason a child goes without one.. If you cannot find it you can message me and use live to send u the link privately. Please use the link, share it with another family, or tag someone who may need it.
Today, I ask you to remember Meadow and every child and family whose lives have been affected by drowning. Let their stories remind us to slow down, pay attention, educate others, and take water safety seriously.
One conversation, one shared post, one life jacket, or one safer decision could help save a life.
💙 Anyone can drown. No one should.
🦋 In Meadow’s name, please help spread awareness.

I have been working on and off for quite some time trying to create a logo and banner that truly represented Meadow, my love for her, and everything I hope this movement will become. After changing designs, colors, wording, and ideas more times than I can count, I finally created something that feels right.
The image represents me carrying Meadow’s light forward. She may no longer be physically beside me, but her love, her memory, and the impact she made on my life continue to guide every step I take. The wings represent her presence beyond this life, while our hands joined together represent a bond that death could never break. The water will always remain an important part of Meadow’s story, and drowning prevention will always be one part of this mission. But The Meadow Movement is meant to grow beyond one cause. It is about spreading her light by helping others. It is about supporting families, raising awareness, advocating for vulnerable people, creating hope, and turning pain into meaningful change. As I continue my education and work toward a career in advocacy and human services, I hope The Meadow Movement grows alongside me. I want it to become a way to reach people who feel forgotten, support those who need someone in their corner, and create something positive from the love Meadow left behind. This is not only a memorial.
It is a promise that her light will continue to move through the world.
For every person helped in her name, her light shines a little farther.
💜 Her light. Our mission. Their future.
🦋 The Meadow Movement
Spreading her light. Helping others. Creating change.
