Michigan tells hunters to do everything possible to find a wounded deer — tracking dogs are legal, drones aren’t. That makes no sense. Drone deer recovery should be legal.

Drones can scout Michigan hunting land, but once they start helping you find an actual deer, the legal line gets pretty sharp. Michigan’s rules cover everything from scouting to recovering a wounded animal, and one group is still pushing to change part of the law. Would you support allowing drones strictly for deer recovery?

One year ago today, I took the leap—started SkyTherm Recovery with nothing but a drone and a dream.

Look at these faces: lost dogs, every single one tracked down and brought home safe. They got a second chance because we showed up.

Grateful for every late-night flight, every muddy boot, every “thank you” text. Here’s to year two—more tails wagging, more hearts full.
