Natchitoches Parish Veterans and Memorial Park

Natchitoches Parish Veterans and Memorial Park The Park honors veterans of the U.S Armed Services who have, at some point in their lives, lived in Natchitoches Parish.

This page communicates the planning, progress, and activities of the Natchitoches Parish Veterans and Memorial Park. The Park, located at Second and Church Streets in the Natchitoches Historic District, was financed through the generous donations by the public to honor those who have served in the U.S. Armed Services from World War I forward to the present time.

See the attached pictures showing some of the volunteers who helped sort the third delivery of bricks (Fred Terasa, Brenda Sowell, and the contractor, Scott Waskon) as well as the brick masons ( Steve Roque and Jonathan Gaskin). Unfortunately some bricks for the last order where not received and a few more were mismarked, so please check the park and help identify those which are missing or need correction. We will be placing an expedited order on October 3 to turn in the recently received forms along with corrections so please share this with the community ASAP. By paying the extra cost we hope to have the order laid before 11/11.
