On Friday, October 25th, Nauvoo will have it’s annual Octoberfest. Performance this year by the W.I.U. Jazz band. Food and location of the event this year still to be determined.

2024 - Nauvoo Il German Heritage Day (Octoberfest) will be held on Friday October 25th at Nauvoo’s Knights of Columbus Hall at 1275 Mulholland Street ( Route 96) across the street from the Hotel Nauvoo. Stay in town for Bootiful Nauvoo / Pumpkin Walk on October 26th.

This year’s Nauvoo IL German Heritage Days will kick off with our Ocktoberfest on Friday evening, October 27th at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 1275 Mulholland Street. Doors open at 5 p.m. Brats,hot dogs,sauerkraut, potato salad, baked beans, beer, soda, coffee and a multitude of desserts will be served at cost. Entertainment venue-Talks on "Beer Making," followed by the Heidelberg German Polka Band.They brought down the house last year and we expect them to do the same this year.
On Saturday morning, October 28th 9-12 a.m. Venue- A Frankfurter Dog Race (dress up your dog as a brat or hot dog and race to you the owner) winners based on time and by class (dog size) and a beer barrel racing competition at Baxters Winery, Vineyards, and the Wine Barrel Bar at 2010 East Parley Street .
Stick around for Nauvoo's Bootiful Nauvoo Halloween Celebration with the Spooky Trail Parade and Pumpkin Walk that evening. Lots of food and music and acts for your enjoyment.So come and dress in your best Halloween costume.

At Nauvoo's first Ocktoberfest on October 28th, 6-9 p.m. at the new KC Hall in Nauvoo, we will have the Heidelberg German Polka Band performing from 7-9 p.m. Brats, sauerkraut, hot dogs, chips, pears, beer and soda will be available for purchase. Donations for next years' festival will be appreciated.

From 6-7 p.m.that evening Famous Sean, beer brewer from V's Brewpub in Keokuk, Iowa, will demo his talents teaching us to make our own beer.
This will be a really fun evening for young and old.

The 217 Burlesque and Curiosities Troupe perform at the Price-Prather House in Williamsville IL.
