His 13 years in the financial sector, including four years as Vice President of a local credit union, have equipped him with valuable experience in fiscal management and strategic planning. Additionally, Jeff has served as Executive Pastor at Revive Church in Nederland for the past 10 years, demonstrating his dedication to service and community engagement. First elected to the Nederland City Council in 2009 at the age of 26, Jeff made history as the youngest and first Hispanic member of the council. He previously represented Ward 1 from 2009 to 2011 and returned to public service in 2025, this time representing Ward 4. Throughout his tenure, Jeff has been a strong advocate for infrastructure improvements, public safety, and economic development, aiming to enhance the quality of life for all residents. Outside of his professional and civic duties, Jeff is a devoted family man. He and his wife, Angela, have one daughter and are active members of their church and community.
