Have you been to the Hall of Fame banquet? I have! It's a great morning hearing inspirational stories of former Neenah students. I have nominated several of the inductees including Lisa Drew from this year. Full details of the banquet are below:

Tickets for the 2026 Neenah Joint School District Hall of Fame induction are on sale at the District Administration Building and online.

Six individuals will be honored for their contributions to the District. Those honored will be George Christoph, Lisa Drew, Frank Eparvier, Edward Krause, Lori Shepard and Kevin Wasco. This is the 11th year of the event and brings the total number of members of the Hall of Fame to 67.

The event is set for Saturday, October 10 at 9:30 a.m. at Bridgewood Conference Center. For the second straight year, the event will feature a brunch. It will be followed by a brief interview with each of the inductees.

Tickets are $30 each and will be on sale through Monday, Oct. 5. Tickets may be purchased in person at the administration building Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. or online at the link below. A fee will apply to online orders. Table sponsorships are also available for purchase through the online ticket link.

I went to the Sustainable Neenah meeting at City Hall tonight, and thought I would stop over to the Boogie concert. I arrived just in time for the heavy rain! The half a song I heard was great and I hope families had fun before the rain!

Reminder: open house for most schools is tomorrow and then there is the Boogie concert downtown. Full details from the district are below:

We're proud to partner with Future Neenah for the second straight year on the "Boogie Back to School" event on Wednesday, August 26 from 6-9 p.m. in downtown Neenah. Most of our schools will hold their open houses prior to the event and everyone is welcome to come downtown to celebrate one of the final nights of summer vacation!

Our students are working hard at summer music camps. If you would like to see their end of camp concerts - you can check them out in person on Fridays according to the schedule below of check out the replay on the NJSD YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/

Neenah Middle School's summer music programs will host free concerts three straight Fridays in August in Pickard Auditorium.

Choir students will conclude their week-long camp with a performance on Friday, August 7 from 10:30-11 a.m. Band students will perform Friday, August 14 from 11:15 a.m.-noon with a Celebrating America theme. Strings students will hold their concert on Friday, August 21 from 11:15 a.m.-noon.
